Meet Team China is a trade show for Canadian products/services intended for the China market, held every two-years.
The Opportunity:
Thousands of executives from Mainland Chinese companies have obtained Canadian permanent residence status under business and independent immigration categories in recent years. These are business executives and trade professionals who still control their businesses in China and have come to Canada to identify business opportunities. Their collective interest is to export Canadian products/services to China where they have well-established sales networks. Some seek specific products, but may not know where to find them, while others are in search of anything in Canada that will meet the Chinese market demands. This joint exhibition would be an ideal opportunity for Canadian companies to meet with potential agents to expand your business in China. On the show day about 1,000 of these trade representatives and agents will gather at 900 Bay to meet with you in search for the right business partners and the right products.

Meet Team China 2001:
The first Meet Team China trade show was held 9-5 May 4, 2001 at 900 Bay Street, 2nd Floor, Macdonald Block, Ontario Room, and it was widely considered a great success. The show was attended by 43 exhibiting companies representing Canadian products in medical equipment, environmental, energy-saving, chemical, biological, wood-processing equipment, plastic processing equipment, telecommunications, power, building materials, foods and food-processing, auto parts, and machinery. The one-day show attracted about 1500 Chinese business people who came for information on Canadian products exportable to the China market. As the number of visitors far exceeded what had been expected, almost all exhibitors ran out of their promotion materials 3-4 hours after the show started. A cocktail reception sponsored by Royal Bank and the World Journal was held in the same exhibition hall in the afternoon.
The second Meet Team China Show was held 10:00 am - 4:00 pm, November 29, 2003 at Hall B, National Trade Centre, 100 Princes Bld. Toronto, ON M6K 3C3.
