The CBCC Professionals Association is a group of professionals affiliated with the Chinese Business Chamber of Canada (CBCC). Established in 1998, the CBCC is the largest Chinese Business Association in Canada with over 1200 active members. In December 2005, when the number of Chinese professionals in the CBCC membership reached 500, this group formed a separate association within the CBCC ¡°the CBCC Professionals Association¡±.
The CBCC Professionals Association has currently over 500 active members, mainly Mandarin speaking. They are lawyers, accountants, dentists, Chinese medical doctors, engineers, financial advisors, financial analysts, IT specialists, market specialists, human resources specialists, immigration consultants, customs brokers, and so on. These professionals are well established in Canada, with 80% in Ontario and others in Quebec and BC, and with an average of 5 years of business and professional experience in Canada.
