CBCC Current Affairs Forum is a non-partisan regular meeting for discussions on current events and issues, community affairs, federal/provincial/municipal elections, international affairs and other matters concerning Chinese Canadians.
Activities and functions:
1) Meetings and discussions;
2) Networking;
3) Publications; and
4) Recommendations.
Participants:
CBCC members, members from the media and academics, political and social activists, community leaders, and invited guests.
Purposes:
1) To promote exchange and mutual understanding;
2) To formulate opinions and build consensus;
3) To stimulate interest in politics; and
4) To promote active participation in the democratic process.
