The Chinese Business Excellence Awards & New Year Celebration Gala is an annual event held in every new year to honour successful Chinese Canadians for their entrepreneurial achievement and community service. Organized by the Chinese Business Chamber of Canada (CBCC), the largest Chinese business association in Canada, the event is intended to provide an opportunity for us to share success stories, promote information exchange, and encourage entrepreneurship in the community.
There are eight award categories: Innovation Award, Innovation Award, Overseas Award,Social Impact Award, Entrepreneurship Award, International Business Award, Most-Improved Award, and Person of the Year in Chinese business. The uniquenesses are that they are the only awards dedicated to Canada-China trade; and the only awards with cultural background of Chinese Canadians originating from Mainland China.
Winners of the awards are selected by an independent Selection Committee appointed by the CBCC's Board of Directors.
To nominate a candidiate, please fill the Nomination Form and send it to the CBCC before January 6, 2017.
The 12th Chinese Business Excellence Awards & New Year Celebration Gala will be held on the evening of January 27, 2017 at the Sony Centre. As the event is held in the new year, the Gala is always one of the largest in the Chinese community during the season of Chinese new year celebration in the Greater Toronto Area. As always, the event will be covered by all major Chinese media in Canada including TVs, daily newspapers, weekly news, web TVs and Web news.
